With much sadness, we announce that Evan Erwin/the Magic Show, will not be on MC3, thing just didn’t work out for this show with his new gig at Star City. BUT we’ve got Magic Blogger, former R&D intern, and regular PT Reporter Bill Stark joining us in his place!
Check back for confirmation on our 2nd VIP (likely to be either Brian Kibler, or Brad Nelson!)
We have confirmation on our Gunslingers and 1 artist for Magic Nationals on Aug 20th in Minnepaolis, MN.
We’ll be joined by Tom LaPille and Zac Hill from Wizards of the Coast R&D and Mike “Darken” Lim, a fan favorite artist! You can see Daarken’s MtG art HERE or visit his website directly! daarken.com
I’m still working to confirm a 2nd artist for this show, but haven’t been able to finalize yet! hopefully I’ll get details on that within the next few days but I didn’t want to wait ANY longer to announce what we already DO have!
We’ve just announced a last minute promotional item! We’ve been working on it for a few weeks, but just got the word they’re coming down and given permission to start promoting… so here we go!
This is a full sized 24″ x 36″ poster and will be printed on glossy card stock. These items will be free to every participant (while supplies last) at the Regional Prerelease in Burnsville, MN at Misty Mountain! We’ve also got artist Rob Alexander coming, and Bill Stark coming to gunsling, should be a great time!
Here’s a little clip of the poster…

Come out and get yours!
Steve
Sorry it’s been so long in getting you this info!
Rob Alexander, artist on pretty close to a billion cards, is joining us for M11 in Burnsville MN for the Minneapolis Regional Prerelease. You can find a list of his cards here so you can come prepared to buy your favorite prints and get autographs! We’re worked with Rob before (at Magic nationals 2009 in Kansas City) and he’s a great guy and happy to get to hang out with all his fans! Check out his full list here
Bill Stark will be defending a pile of packs I put in front of him. Bill hails originally from Iowa but has been transplanted to Seattle where he worked as an intern for the Mother Ship doing all sorts of things including globe trotting event reporting. He sitll finds himself all over the world doing event reporting for Wizards and has his own Blog/news site: the Starkington Post
So come out to Misty Mountain in Burnsville for your M11 fix and get your favorite cards signed and try to win a few of my packs from Bill Stark!

A great weekend of magic finished up Sunday night after a 201 player PTQ at Misty Mountain Games in Madison. I had not expected more than 170-180 top side so we were a little tight in the space. the players were all awesome though and we muddled through. I guess that means I won’t be trying to put another PTQ in that space again. We had been getting consistently 150s for PTQs when I ran them OUTSIDE the store in madison, so I thought we’d be allright being back to back with the MMS. boy was I wrong! thanks to all for coming out to the MMS, which had 218 players and SO many stayed for day 2 of the action!
The MMS finished up pretty early, around 7:30pm when the top 4 split the remaining prize and headed home. Following is a list of the T8 decklists placed in order after swiss, but noting 1/4th or 5/8th, 5/8th meaning they lost their quarter final match.
read on!

A lot of you have become fans of the sleeves I’ve been producing. the quality is amazing and they wear like iron! Well good news! Yesterday (just as I was taking off for California and the Comic Con here in Anaheim) my latest shipment of sleeves hit the loading dock at the distributor! This first wave of commercial sleeves come in Black, Blue, Red, Green and White and 1 with custom art by John Matson. They’re in 50ct bags (might expand to 80s in the future if the demand is there!) and I’ve not set the MSRP on them yet, but expect the retail price on them to be competitive with Ultra Pro and Max. We are working to get them into the distributors system and should be able to be shipped next week to stores. So tell your stores to call ACD and ask for Legion Supplies new sleeves! We’ll have them at both Madison and Burnsville Misty Mountain Stores for this weekend if you want to be the first kid on the block to have the new stuff.
